Support available for Suncorp Bank customers affected by Tropical Cyclone Alfred

With Tropical Cyclone Alfred expected to impact South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales in the coming days, Suncorp Bank has activated its disaster relief packages for personal and business customers.
The packages can include:
- The opportunity to defer scheduled loan repayments for an agreed period.
- Variation of existing loans (for example conversion from principal and interest to interest only payments).
- Waiver of early withdrawal interest adjustments for the early withdrawal of term deposits.
- Debt consolidation to help make repayments more manageable.
- Credit card repayment relief where necessary.
- Short-term working capital (for example temporary overdraft).
- Additional finance to assist with cash flow shortages.
Suncorp Bank CEO Bruce Rush said the bank is here to support our customers and people in need.
“We want our customers who may be impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred to know that our team will be here to support them,” said Mr Rush.
“We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops, so we can respond and support our customers and people in the coming days.
