The Suncorp Bank Secured App is designed to replace the Physical Security Token. It’s free and easy to use, allowing you to quickly generate a Security Token Code to approve certain bill payments, transfers or changes to your daily limit, no matter where you are or what time of day it is.

It’s easy, simple and free to use the new Suncorp Bank Secured App.
Please note: Activating the Suncorp Bank Secured App will deactivate any existing physical token you currently use. How to install the Suncorp Bank Secured App
Let's see how to register the Suncorp Bank Secured App on your phone and set up a Suncorp Bank Secured Token.
The app generates a six-digit token to enter into Internet Banking and Suncorp Bank App. You'll need this for a variety of reasons, including changing daily limits.
Before we start, you'll need your Internet Banking Customer ID and password to set up the application. Check that you have them ready.
The first step is to search for the Suncorp Bank Secured App in your phone's App Store. Install the app by tapping Install.
When it's installed, open the app.
When you first open the app, there is an explanation of Suncorp Bank two-factor authentication. This gives you an extra layer of security.
Choose whether you want to allow Suncorp Bank to track your location.
Enter your Customer ID and Internet Banking password. If you don't have your Customer ID or password and need help recovering them, please see our videos.
Suncorp Bank Secured App sends a one-time code to help you register the app securely.
Copy the code from the text message. Enter the code, and hit 'Confirm'.
Once the code has been validated, you'll be asked to create a new six-digit PIN. This PIN will be your access to the app from now on. Re-enter the PIN, and remember it for the future.
Your PIN is registered. Given the risk of unauthorised transactions, always remember to keep your login details and PIN secure.
And setup is complete.
This is a one-time process.
Click Got It to finalise the process, and you are done.
When you open the app, a six-digit token code appears. Take note of the token code or use the button to copy it. You have 60 seconds to use the token code before it expires.
Swap back to Internet Banking or Suncorp Bank App and paste or enter the token code into the box.
Then, hit Submit.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to my Physical Security Token if I register for the Suncorp Bank Secured App?
If you currently use a Physical Security Token to generate token codes, when you register to use the Suncorp Bank Secured App, your previous Physical Security Token will be immediately deactivated. You can then use the Suncorp Bank Secured App to generate token codes. If you’d like to safely dispose of your Physical Security Token, please take it to your local Suncorp Bank branch.
When will I be asked to provide a Security Token Code?
You’ll be asked to enter a Security Token Code to authenticate certain transactions like changing your daily transfer limit. The Suncorp Bank Secured App allows you to generate the Security Token Code in a fast and secure way in just a few steps.
The Suncorp Bank Secured App provides an additional layer of security when accessing and managing your Suncorp Bank accounts online. It allows you to quickly generate a unique Security Token Code in just a few clicks.
If you’ve forgotten your Suncorp Bank Secured App 6-digit PIN, tap on ‘Forgot your PIN’ from the App’s login screen and enter your existing Suncorp Bank Customer ID or email address and follow the prompts.
You can only use the Suncorp Bank Secured App on one device. If you register the App on a new device, the App will deactivate on the first device.
Here’s how you can transfer your Suncorp Bank Secured App to a new device:
- Download the Suncorp Bank Secured App from Google Play™ or the App Store® onto the new device.
- Log into the Suncorp Bank Secured App on your new device using your existing Suncorp Bank Customer ID and password.
If no longer have access to your previous device, please contact us.
You can only use the Suncorp Bank Secured App on one device.
If you would like to use the App on a different device, you can transfer your Suncorp Bank Secured App registration to that device. Here’s how:
- Download the Suncorp Bank Secured App from Google Play® or the App Store™ onto the new device.
- Log into the Suncorp Bank Secured App on your new device using your existing Suncorp Bank Customer ID and password.
