At Suncorp Bank, we want to help provide quality financial education for young Australians. Building a bright financial future for our communities is about mastering the basics.
The Financial Basics Foundation works with educators, students, finance professionals, creative and online e-learning experts from around Australia to develop, produce and distribute financial literacy teaching resources free of charge to Australian secondary schools.
Our partnership began in 2016, as part of our commitment to supporting young people and building up their financial confidence.
The Suncorp Bank ESSI Money Challenge
Suncorp Bank sponsors an annual financial literacy competition for high school students who are learning about managing money by playing the Financial Basics Foundation’s online ESSI Money Game. While students can play ESSI Money year-round, for two weeks each year they can compete with other students all around Australia. They can monitor their progress on a national leaderboard and even win prize money for themselves and their school.
Financial literacy through animation: MoneyIQ
MoneyIQ is an animated video series that aims to help young Australians become financially independent by providing them the knowledge and skills to confidently manage their money.
MoneyIQ can help young people get the tools they need to make wise and responsible financial choices for now and the future.
By teaming up with the Financial Basics Foundation, Suncorp Bank is helping to build a financially confident and resilient future for the next generation.
